The Challenge

Over break, I challenged myself to solve a problem I saw in the world. As a former educator, I know that statistically most teachers in the U.S. burn out in just three years. My challenge to myself was to research the reasons why so many teachers burn out so quickly and create a site that could help.

Constraints

TIME. I had just two months to compile research, send surveys out to teachers, conduct interviews, wireframe, design, and go through two rounds of testing, and finish my final product.

Survey Results

 

I sent out a survey, and quickly received feedback from 22 teachers. The survey asked a series of qualitative and quantitative questions focusing on stress points in the profession, personal feelings towards the career, and what supports they felt they lacked but needed or wanted.
